APRIL CATCH REPORTS
WEEK 1 - START OF THE SEASON.
The season kicked off at the begining of April. The weather conditions were'nt good - with snow, hail, rain & overnight temperatures of minus 2 degrees!, but the anglers still managed to catch 12x 20's & 8x 30's to 36lb.
WEEK 2
Not much improvement on the weather conditions, meant that anglers Jamie, Justin & Aaron struggled to bag many fish, but young Clayton (age 14) showed the old boys how to do it, with 2 forties for the photo album. In total 6x 20's, 2x 30's & 2x 40's were caught.
WEEK 3
At last some sunshine, for the "womble" party & the fish have started to wake up!! A total of 32 carp caught 23x 20's, 8x 30's and a 42.02lb for Rob Davidson on his second visit to the lake.
WEEK 4
Next we saw good friends Simon & Jonny landing 20 fish between "socialising"!!! which included 12x 20's all over 25lb!! & 7x 30's all above 35lb!! oh & a pastie!!
