CATCH REPORT 21 MARCH - 4 APRIL 2009
The 2009 season started towards the end of March with very changeable weather having a dramatic effect on the fishing.
Twenty carp were banked within the 2 weeks, with the first week producing the majority. James & crew from Bristol managed to smash a total of 6 PB's to the four anglers with the biggest a lovely 30.12lb common and a 33.08lb mirror to Chris.
Four anglers from Kent fished the second week and although the fishing proved to be slower, they still managed to beat 3 personal bests!
Temperatures going below minus at night & heavy frosts didn't stop Brian bagging a 38.12lb and the first forty of the season out to Lee-John at 40.01lb.
